COnfiguration Wizard don t work #5754

What did you expect to happen?

i wanted to configure plugin for first time and i open the wizard

What happened instead?

when the windows open i click next..nothing happen..hang there, even if i click register for newsletter keep hanging. and this way i cannot access most of the yoast funcions please help otherwise will need to switch to another plugin! thanks

How can we reproduce this behavior?

Can you provide a link to a page which shows this issue?

no because it is form backend

Can you check the JavaScript console for any errors? Just right-click 'inspect element' anywhere on the page and if there are any errors you should see them. Which browser do you use?

hello i have tried it on firefox and on chrome..exactly.same.behaviour

Even I am facing the same issue as you were facing and what @terw-dan asked was to provide him the Javascript error which was causing the error.

ah right..ok thanks! hope they can fix...yoast is unusable now

Thanks for the error. Looking at the error it might be possible the server disables PUT requests. Can you check if PUT requests are disabled or enabled on your host?

For the time being you can go to SEO -> Dashboard -> Features -> Enable settings pages to enable all settings pages and setup Yoast there.

i don t have this oprtion in general page of dashboard Please fix it otherwise,can t go to check the put request on server, can t talk easily to mantainer Yoast use to work before if you don t let me use it i will have to switch to other plugin thanks

Is this still relevant with current version of the plugin?

PUT requests issue should be fixed I think.

This issue can be closed since this error was related to PUT requests, and that is as you mentioned already fixed.
