Open Pcosta88 opened 7 years ago

Pcosta88 commented 7 years ago

What did you expect to happen?

The SEO colored dot would match the colored dot on the All Page View

What happened instead?

It did not

How can we reproduce this behavior?

1.Install VC

2.Install Yoast SEO

3.Add VC Elements

4.Optimize page

5.See Green dot

6.See that colored dot does not match in the All Page View

Can you provide a link to a page which shows this issue?

Dots may also appear as grey even though the colored dot is green.

Testing this with: WordPress 5.0.3 Yoast (free and premium) 9.6 VisualComposer Free 12.0.0

The issue still exists. The workaround seems to be to open the VC-created page in the standard WordPress editor and update the post from there once the Yoast plugin javascript was able to analyse the posts content. Once the post is saved with the data that was generated by our JS, the correct data is saved in the database and the right colors are shown on the all-posts page.

This leads me to believe that the Yoast analysis needs to be run within Visual Composer so that the score can be determined before the post is published / updated within Visual Composer.

I was unable to generate the mentioned JS errors in my setup/
