Snippet No Longer Appears & Can't Edit Slug #5936

What did you expect to happen?

The snippet no longer appears when performing a google search. Can't edit the slug. Every time I update the slug box goes blank.

What happened instead?

How can we reproduce this behavior?

If you try to edit the slug, do you see any JavaScript errors in the JavaScript console (you can see this by rightclicking on the page and select inspect element).

Sorry I'm not entirely sure how to recreate this?

Problems only seem to occur on the home page. All other pages/posts appear to function properly and can be modified successfully.

In addition to the issues with the snippet preview and slug functions, I've also noticed the analysis is not particularly accurate. Underneath I've underlined some discrepancies. For example there are plenty of images on the home page.

The only thing we need is the text you use as your homepage so we can use that for testing. Please post this as plain text, since we cannot use screenshots.

I've tried reproducing it, but I don't seem to be getting the same error here. Do you run any special themes or plugins?

Not sure if they are considered special. Here's what I'm running.

I haven't been able to reproduce this yet. If you disable other plugins, do you experience the same issues?

Apart from Yoast SEO and Cherry all plugins were disabled. Same issues experienced.

And if you disable the Cherry plugin? There seem to be multiple Cherry products for wordpress, I see a theme, framework, sidebars etc.. which one are you using?

I'm not able to disable the cherry plugin. It's my understanding tit's a cherry themed template Cherry Plugin Info

@CarolineGeven Can you check for a cherry theme so we can reproduce this problem. I haven't been able to reproduce so far.

Am in the process of revamping website so am not using the latest version 4.9.2 yet. Hopefully it will be fully updated by the end of February.
