After sketching some ideas on paper, I made this new design of the Features tab.
The toggles are placed right next to the labels. By clicking on the blue question marks, you can expand (and collapse) the boxes to see additional information and a link to another article.
Looks good to me! @jdevalk agreed?
Awesome.
Is the "Admin Bar Menu" label just wrong in the mockup? (Should be On instead of Off)
Or is there some other logic intended for which label is to the right, perhaps based on recommended settings?
That is indeed an error in the Mockup 😄
Here is a mockup with the features displayed in one column. The question marks and toggles have got Yoast's colors.
Remark from @michielheijmans that the product team agrees with: can we use Yoast green instead of purple for the "On" state?
Sure! We went for purple as a more muted color, but green is what they are in MyYoast too so that's good.
And let's go for grey for the question marks like we did in the meta box too.
Ok! I also slightly changed the colors of the "OFF" toggles. The new colors are based on http://www.material-ui.com/#/components/toggle
Did a lot of prework for this in #8991

Seems this will now simply be part of the admin overhaul. Closing.
I know we're going to revise these settings. But I would also like us to think about an intermediate improvement for the features tab as is.
Because this:
Is not a good experience.
