Bug with "The text contains 5 consecutive sentences starting with the same word. Try to mix things up!"

Hi, first off apologies if I have come to the wrong place, I have a bug with Yoast but web designer (https://flothemes.com) have told me its not their problem even though they installed Yoast to my site. And to contact Yoast direct. So...

My issue is... I write a post and adjust it so that is get a green light for readability. All well and good. I then go to the Key wording and content tab make the necessary adjustments to get a green light. I then find the readability light has now turned red with out changing any text!!!?? the usual error is .... "The text contains 5 consecutive sentences starting with the same word. Try to mix things up! " (But it is not limited to this ). This error warning is not correct and the highlighting function does not work, I guess because it is not correct. :-(

I have read this article https://github.com/Yoast/wordpress-seo/issues/6093 which though not the same sounds similar. My guess is it may be something to do with a plug in but I as I said my web developer has said I need to speak to you guys.

Please describe what you expected to happen and why.

I would expect the readability indicator to not change from green to red if the text doesn't change!? I would also expect to be able to see the highlighted faults in the text. I would not expect to see an incorrect fault in my text.

How can we reproduce this behavior?

correct text to get a green light
change settings to get green light in Keywording
save and refresh the page. The more the page is updated the more errors seem to happen.

Yoast SEO version: 6.3.1

Could you please provide us with an example text in which you get this issue, so we can identify the problem?

I would like to point out that the markers not showing up is a known issue: Yoast/YoastSEO.js/issues/1263.

This text below has an error "The text contains 5 consecutive sentences starting with the same word. Try to mix things up!"

I can see 3 non consecutive sentences that star with For, which may not be ideal but it is not what Yoast is telling me. :-(

The Registry Office is situated in the heart of the old town, so after the ceremony we could walk around some of my favourite spots taking in the sites around the centre of the Gibraltar.

Thanks for following up! When I enter that text, I'm not getting the consecutive sentence warning.

We'll need to know if this behavior is caused by a conflict with a plugin or theme. Therefore we want to ask you to do the following:

Log in to your WordPress website.
Deactivate all non-Yoast plugins.
Switch your theme to a standard theme like Twenty Seventeen.
Test if the issue still occurs.

If it still occurs:

Add a summary of the above steps to your bug report.

If it doesn't occur anymore:

Reactivate all non-Yoast plugins one-by-one.
Test for the issue again after every plugin you reactivate.

If the problem reoccurred after reactivating one of your plugins, please add that information to your bug report.

You can use the Health Check plugin to easily test this.
