Images get seen on backend
Yet not counted on sitemap
Tech Specs Yoast: 6.1.1 WP: 4.9.1 ACF PRO: 5.6.0 Yoast ACF Analysis (needed for Yoast to see the images on backend): 2.0.1
So this happens with this extender (which i wasn't aware of) too.
This happens with single images too, not only with image galleries (ACF Field Type set to Image
). Yoast SEO detects the image but doesn't include it in the sitemap. The og:image tag isn't outputted either.

Please give us a description of what happened.
I use ACF (Advanced custom fields) plugin to create galleries of images on all posts. https://www.advancedcustomfields.com/ https://www.advancedcustomfields.com/resources/gallery/
Please describe what you expected to happen and why.
The images on the gallery do not get considered on the sitemap. All the images are: A) On the media library B) Attached to the post C) Displaying on the post, though they use ACF code to display them they are not in the post content.
I'd like to request this images to be included to the sitemap, to make it more likely they get indexed by search engines.
How can we reproduce this behavior?
