Changing search engine name in omnibar and fixed width not resizable window #72

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Changing search engine name in omnibar don't work (conflict)
2. When choosing manage search engines the appearing window is fixed width and
don't resize.
3.

What do you expect to happen? What do you see instead?
For the search engine name change i found the extension conflict. For the fixed
width window, it needs to be resizable.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system and
Firefox version?
Firefox 5, Windows 7 64bit
What other add-ons are you using?
Omnibar is conflicting, disabling Organize Search Engines the engine name in
the urlbar switches

Please provide any additional information below.
Everything else is very good, thanks. Andrea

I installed cause i remembered it worked, the 1.7pre of Organize search
engines, and the Engine name switching in Omnibar is working, the window is
always fixed anyway. Hope this help.

Don't see 1.7pre available anymore, at least not for Firefox 15. In current
1.7 stable it does not work with Omnibar. This is a huge let-down. Don't need
an extra toolbar. I guess I'll keep this addon disabled until I need to edit
or reorder my search engines. I can't use the folders though.

I attach the 1.7pre, it is working fine for me also with the latest Omnibar,
the only thing is the non-resizable window when you have to manage the search
engine list. Is an essential extension for me, hope this help.

I'm using Firefox 16.0.1 and forcing compatibility with the "checkCompatibilty"
Add-on.
