At the moment one needs to install the chartist component globally. This has some disadvantages:

Pollutes the global namespace
If you have a larger application where you do code-splitting, causes longer load-times on all pages - including pages that don't use chartist at all

This makes it possible to add the component as a sub-component where needed.
