Since you are on the quantities tab, it shows that there are 2 units of food wasted in November. This corresponds to the waste list displayed on the right since there are a total of 2 units of food (in this case, Apples) wasted in November. All other food items visible in the waste list on the right are of other amounts (weight: 300g of salmon at index 1, 300g of salmon at index 5) (volume: 100ml of Milk at index 3, 7.5oz of Canned salmon at index 4), which does not contribute to the food wasted when measured in terms of quantity. It is stated in our user guide that quantity will only take into acount the total amount of food wasted in "units".
If you would like to cross check with the other months, you can list out the waste list for a specific past month (for example, wlist list m/Oct 2019) and verify that in Oct 2019, there are 3 units of food wasted. Likewise, you can do similar checks for the volume and weight tabs.

Reason for disagreement: I think the issue is the inability to display the waste disposed at any months. This seems like hidden information from the user, which would be interesting, especially since many functions seem to be implemented based on this (like wlist list
and wlist report
). These features are difficult to test the accuracy of, because it is impossible for the user to view when items have been disposed of. Perhaps each item could have information added when disposed of, with information "Thrown away on: DD/MM/YYYY" for testability sake.
Waste report clearly does not correlate with the actual waste quantities in the waste list
