the evil egg for me isn't growing #3

i have been sitting afk for about 20-30 minutes just lookin at the egg and it seems like it isn't growing do i have to wait more, or is it bugged

What java version are you using? Does it say anything in console?

im using java version 8 i think

Are you sure you are using java 8? I had the same exception in console and it went away when i deleted java 11 from my pc.

how do i check on what java version my server is running on?

Idk. Check which versions you have installed https://java.com/en/download/help/version_manual.html
