openpgp-applet does not load in VirtualBox using VBoxVGA with 3D acceleration #54

I test Tails tails-amd64-3.12.iso in VirtualBox 6.0 and for some reasion when using graphics controller VBoxVGA with 3D acceleration enabled openpgp-applet does not load (the clipboard icon does not show on top of the screen).

Running openpgp-applet gives this both when it works and dont work:

(openpgp-applet:950): Gdk-CRITICAL **: gdk_window_thaw_toplevel_updates: assertion 'window->update_and_descendants_freeze_count > 0' failed

Works when using VBoxSVGA or VMSVGA.

I think its openpgp-applet version 1.1-3. That is what apt show openpgp-applet says anyway. I can't seem to get openpgp-applet to show the version. man openpgp-applet says 1.0.

I think you ended up in the wrong repository. This is code for a javacard openpgp applet to load on a smartcard. What you're talking about sounds like https://openpgp-applet-team.pages.debian.net/
