This helps readability greatly. I also corrected a spelling mistake and cleaned up Brew a little bit.

I also just pushed some changes to gitignore - the build files shouldn't be committed.

We have an Organization wide policy to format our READMEs as AsciiDoc. Ususally we have a symlink pointing from README.adoc to README to enable Github to correctly render the file, but we didn't have one for this project. I've added it now. Feel free to submit the .gitignore changes as a separate pull request, as I'd gladly merge those.
