We are seeing an issue where Yubikey NEO-n is not detected on some of our OSX devices. This started recently and we now see more laptops having the same problem.
Configuration:
OSX 10.11.4
Neo Manager 1.4.0
Neo Manager shows "no device found" when we plug Yubikey. We have tried all the recommended fixes however no luck so far.
/usr/libexec/SmartCardServices/drivers/ifd-ccid.bundle/Contents/Info.plist file contains all the necessary entries.
Interestingly enough, yubikeys with U2F mode enabled can be detected however even in this case the Serial Number is not shown. In other words Yubikey can be used only in U2F mode.
Also, the system report shows USB device with Yubikey product ID.
We have over 200 deployments of Yubikeys Neo-n and they work quite well. However the issue above is very concerning since more and more laptops are getting that problem.
