yubikey neo - timeout when signing into github #79

Hi,

I have the following issue, when trying to sign into github with my brand-new yubikey-neo I receive the following error:

Timed out waiting for security key

It worked fine this morning when I have successfully added the yubikey for 2-factor-authentication. Now when signing in it doesn't seem to recognize the yubikey anymore.

Any ideas, why this happens? I've managed to sign into my keepass with the 3-OTPs successfully. So I don't think the ubikey is actually broken.

With that said I'm unsure what could be wrong, that's the error you would get if it's waiting for touch but times out without getting it. You can also test if it works on https://demo.yubico.com/u2f

just found out what the problem was. I had to activate U2F in Yubikey Neo Manager (it was disabled for some reason)

now everything works as expected. posting this, because it may be useful who run into the same problem. Check your Settings using the Yubikey Neo Manager application.
