a forum post tried to explain why the yubi works totally different with the standard driver vs the yubico minidriver, so far so obvious but there are some things that remain.
1) wouldnt it be possible to map a cert to both a slot and inside the container map?
2) if yes, could the container map be built in the PIV manager/Tool?
My Reasoning for this is because the standard driver cannot play with EC Certs and other nice things like PUK/PIN settings dont work on the standard driver.
otherwise, would it be possible to make a driver that keeps the yubi slot based but adds these features which might not depend on the containers?
