I like the concept of the Icon. But I think it can look better.

Check this out, please give me some suggestions, maybe some background colors?

This one is much more neat... definitely better than the previous one.

Here's what it looks like at 48x48 pixels (android sized). I'm not convinced
that
this is any better.

Here's a side by side comparison on the emulator. It does look like it
probably is
better. I think in a perfect world we need something that looks and feels like
an
android style icon. specifically if you read the android icon guidelines link I
posted, the launcher icons are all 3-d with lighting effects and nice
perspective
angles. We also need a notification icon (opening a new issue for that).

I would like to see something that's a little closer to the other android icons
stylistically.

Evan,
Wow, that perspective effect adds a lot making it look the same style as the
rest of
the android icons! I think this is starting to look pretty good.
It's still kind of hard to recognize that it's the vitruzian android though.
The
arms/legs look a bit out or proportion to the body/head. Can you try making the
arms/legs a little wider and maybe marrow the body/head just a bit?
Also, I think adding a slight drop shadow (look at the "Settings" icon in your
screenshot for an example) would go a long way too.
This is definitely looking much nicer!

Hi, here is a new version screenshot. I think the body proportion is better now.

Hi Evan,
That icon looks nice. The body proportion is better than the previous one but I
think
the droid appears to be weak. Can you try changing size of hands and legs. May
be
even add a background.

Yeah, you're right, the arms and legs were kind of tricky, let's see if this
works. I
put some transparency effect on.

Evan,
Can you please upload the "source" (I don't know the proper term, but the native
image format that you used to create this) for the image into
https://omnidroid.googlecode.com/svn/icons/
