I can view and edit my calendar in Obsidian, but I cannot create new Gcal event.

Hi, it looks like you missed the edit calendar scope during the setup process. Please remove the plugin from your google account and try to login again.

You can remove the connection in the google account settings

Make sure the check the following box after logging in.
