Thanks for the PR, but I don't understand why we need it. The app releases a new version approximately every month. I see little benefit and the auto-commit on every commit is a pain to maintain.

From my understanding. The only way to use experimental features is to use this method. I now realize that the auto commit requires human interaction each commit and I can totally understand why that would be difficult to maintain.
