I set up a Yunohost virtual machine, tested the installation and fixed all the errors that I could find. Install, remove, backup, restore, upgrade and change_url all work reliably for me now.

For now I left the ORS and Mapbox tokens required, because it seems like there is not yet a way to modify these once the app is installed. I asked in the Yunohost chat and it seems like they are planning something, but it does not seem very stable or usable yet.
I did not experience the out of memory error that you reported. How much memory does your installation have available? If this continues to be a problem, we might have to switch from downloading the sources and building the bundle to downloading a prebuilt bundle.
