Automatic tests

Automatic tests can be triggered on https://ci-apps-dev.yunohost.org/ after creating the PR, by commenting "!testme", "!gogogadgetoci" or "By the power of systemd, I invoke The Great App CI to test this Pull Request!". (N.B. : for this to work you need to be a member of the Yunohost-Apps organization)

PHP7.4 will not get security support after 28 Nov 2022. Using suri, we can specify a PHP version. I there issues with Friendica running PHP8?

Friendica just moved to PHP 8 so I have not tested it much, but should be ok. However does it mean that I cannot upgrade Friendica YNH if my server's PHP is 7.3? As far as I understand you added that the minimum PHP required to install this YNY package version is PHP 8.
