Upgrade Nextcloud 28.0.3 fails because /var/log/nextcloud does not exist #672

The upgrade to Nextcloud 28.0.3 fails because the logs are moved to /var/log/nextcloud, but that folder does not exist.

To solve the problem create folder /var/log/nextcloud by mkdir -p /var/log/nextcloud first and then the upgrade runs through. Even if you can not reproduce this problem, just create the folder with that command before the mv of the logs, it does not hurt anyone.

Logs with fault here, search for /var/log/nextcloud.

This gave me a fucking heart attack. I would love if you'd fix that asap so others to experience this. I love you people for all the work you do! ❤️

Hello @OniriCorpe not sure if that helps.

It is a server, not a VPS. Yunohost 11.10.2.3 I got SSH access, update was run via yunohost admin web. Nothing else special.

Nextcloud preupgrade was 27.x and now is 28.x, stable branch, nothing special there as well.
