Cannot find subdomain Write Freely account from primary domain Pleroma account on same YNH server #228

Describe the bug

I have three domains configured on my YNH server.

I have a Pleroma hosted at a primary domain foxylo.xyz (which is not the default domain for this server), plus I have installed Write Freely on the subdomain blog.foxylo.xyz

My Write Freely blog is configured for Fediverse, but I cannot find, see or follow my Write Freely account from my Pleroma account.

I have confirmed that other Fediverse accounts are able to find, see and follow my Write Freely account.

Context

Steps to reproduce

  1. log into my pleroma account @foxyloxy@foxylo.xyz
  2. search for my write freely account @foxyloxy@blog.foxylo.xyz

Expected behaviour

Expect to see a search result in Pleroma that the actor @foxyloxy@blog.foxylo.xyz exists and can be followed.

However, my Pleroma cannot find @foxyloxy@blog.foxylo.xyz

I suspect this issue may be due to Nginx: logs from /var/log/nginx/blog.foxylo.xyz-access.log after attempting to search for @foxyloxy@blog.foxylo.xyz include this:

Tried a search, my Pleroma can’t find none of @foxyloxy@foxylo.xyz and @foxyloxy@blog.foxylo.xyz

The same on my server. I have a Pleroma instance mumm.pepecyb.de and (among others) a Hubzilla hub hub.pericles.hu .

My main Hubzilla channel is not found (AP is activated). Likewise my other channels or the channel of a user who is registered with my hub.

So it doesn't seem to be limited to Write Freely.

Various Hubzilla channels of known users are found, but many more are not.

However, the channels are all found by Mastodon, for example (external instance), or by Misskey, Sharkey, Iceshrimp...

So Pleroma is not usable for me.
