Too old for threads. Time to upgrade? #307

Describe the bug

Can't use threads because it's too outdated.

Context

Hardware: Raspberry Pi at home
YunoHost version: 4.3.6.3 (stable)
I have access to my server: Through SSH
Are you in a special context or did you perform some particular tweaking on your YunoHost instance?: no
Using, or trying to install package version/branch: 1.47.1~ynh1

Steps to reproduce

Open Element.
Go settings.
Go experiments.
Try to enable threads.

Expected behavior

A modern synapse that can handle threads! 😃

From the link you shared :

If your home server runs Synapse, this is available in version 1.55 and above

As you can see https://github.com/YunoHost-Apps/synapse_ynh/pull/297 a new package version, upgraded to Synapse 1.56, is on the making. You will have to be patient or help by trying the testing branch (at your own risk) :slightly_smiling_face:
