Installation: Manual partitioning doesn't work #1703

Open jedie opened 3 years ago

Installation with yunohost-buster-4.0.3-amd64-stable.iso

Starting the Partitioning Tool with "manual" doesn't work. It raised and error like "root partition not found" before the partitioning tool appears.

I tried the text and graphical installer. I also tried with a empty SSD (only one disk installed) and with a pre partitioning drive.

It's the "Manual" step here:

The issue is still valid. I tried the 3 "Guided" options, no help. As fdisk/gdisk is not available on the shell, I couldn't debug this.

Issue still occurs using https://build.yunohost.org/yunohost-bullseye-11.0.9-amd64-stable.iso

If anyone is blocked by this issue, know that you can install Debian 11 (not 12!) and install Yunohost on top using these instructions: https://yunohost.org/fr/install/hardware:vps_debian

The issue is still valid. I tried to install v.11.0.9 image. In Guided mode installer can't create EFI partition. In manual mode installer totally skips the partition create step.
