Value Proposition

As a User, I want to access to the same data from a database, so that I can see all the available products on different devices.

Description

Create a database in MongoDB Atlas to be able to see all the bikes available from anywhere and from any device.

Acceptance Criteria

• [x] All bikes from a the database in the cloud are displayed on pages:
  • [x] Home (in the preview), Bikes, Bikes Details, Shopping Cart.

Tasks

• [x] Create database on MongoDB Atlas,
• [x] Prepare the database connection
  • [x] Install mongoose (npm i mongoose),
  • [x] Create db ordner with the file connect.js,
  • [x] Create the environment variable (.env.local),
  • [x] Define a Schema variable in the new created db/models/Bike.js file,
  • [x] For the backend add files /api/bikes/index.js and /api/bikes/[id].js with the GET method to be able to read the data,
• [x] Update the frontend to use the data from mongoDB Atlas.
  • [x] Home, Bikes and Bikes Details, Shopping Cart,
• [x] Link the fotos in Database with Cloudinary.
