DENTIST discarding a chunk of variants with no logs #26

Following up from https://github.com/Yves-CHEN/DENTIST/issues/22#issuecomment-1770034687

We are noticing that DENTIST will return results on such some reported chunk like Nth - Yth and the rest of the variants are discarded silently. There is no indication of this behavior in any logs. Any help on this would be appreciated. Thanks!
