I had thought up of an elaborate system long ago...

Either way, seems that originally, it was envisioned that techmarines and apothecaries generate research points, in apothecary case, it would develop a cure for certain mutations. But the actual features of the research system do require, possibly lengthy, discussion.

First version now essentially complete where by techmarines each produce research points and a player can choose to research Wargear, Ships or Vehicles and unlock the stc bonus' without needing stc's (takes time though). Is imperfect but a good first step
