the categories were developed and also used for navigation in the webgui https://github.com/ZGIS/smart-portal-webgui/issues/56

retrieve vocabulary / thesaurus lists and relate to keywords indexing and search
for relating groundwater search categories / semantics to exisitng other content
for boosting

The data could then be updated in the Sparql semantic data service and would be accessible for Webgui dashboard, metadata keyword values and CSW Indexing
