Can this get someone banned from twitch #47

Hello Zarrag,

Is this bot something that could get your account banned/disabled on twitch?

Just wondering if it is within the sites policies

I am not him but I'd like to tell you my opinion, if you'd like. I don't think it is. They can't detect you are using it. It mimics that you are watching the livestream

Well in general no. The bot like ShadowHunter said just mimics you. In this case it uses a firefox useragent, meaning twitch only knows you are watching the channel with firefox. So there is no way for twitch to somehow detect if your are watching with your browser open or letting the bot do it. And about the policies there is no mention off it that you have to actually have the browser open, sit there and watch. Would also kinda not work, u always can go afk and leave your browser open, basiclly the same here.
