Hi, could you please merge the latest comet branch? Several important improvements have been made, including performance enhancements. I would also appreciate it if you could implement the following PR: #220

Will do. Didnt have the time to keep up. One more big update will be committed. After that will be working on merging all changes of upstream comet.

Merged the changes for now. Will add the PR when its merged with the latest changes as well as it is currently still some changes behind.
