Do I need to install Python for the FSRCNNX8 neural scaler to work? Thank you. :)

Also, the colors of the videos look oversaturated when I use HDR, I have to turn off HDR for the colors to be displayed correctly.

No, they should work without any other dependencies, just make sure to use it on videos of the correct resolution. If I remember correctly FSRCNNX is a 2x scaler. To make sure they are working press i and then 2 and you should see something like this:

Yeah my HDR settings still need some work, as I don't watch a lot of HDR content and have a SDR monitor, so I just chucked some generic settings in mpv.conf. Do you have a HDR or SDR monitor?
