Inability to change the Markers when using the Directions API.... #56

When using the Directions API in the Google Maps Javascript v 3,
one cannot change the Marker to a customised one.

I think this feature will allow users to specify their custom Icons for the 
Start to the End points.

You can, however, specify a customised Icon for the pointers or legs in between 
the routes but not for the Start and End Points of the entire Journey.

This tracker is not for the Google Maps V3 API. It is for the open source 
utility libraries that use the V3 API.

You would be better emailing this question to the V3 group 
http://groups.google.com/group/google-maps-js-api-v3.
