"Dimmer" is pulled in place of the real device name #117

I have a simple led controller (2 pin, white). When I add the plugin, the device name is pulled in as generic "Dimmer". Am I doing something wrong? Is there a way to pull in actual device names that are set up in the Magic Home Pro app?

Hi, the plugin grabs information from the actual lights, not the Magichome app. The Magichome app does not send customized names to the lights and therefor the plugin has no means to retrieve them.

You can name it in the home app.

That makes sense technically. Thanks you so much for the quick response. I guess might be an issue for those who have like 10 of these devices :)
