SDV 1.5 mobile update #246

Edit: The original question was, will SMAPI mobile be updated once the 1.5 mobile update comes?

Thanks so much ZaneYork! I am having one issue with the prerelease though, the game won't save.

I'm going through the same thing

@Laurasontru, rlx minha amiga, essa versão ainda é alpha, e pelo q tô vendo, a glr q conseguiu baixar, falaram q não tá muito do agrado, ainda há bugs e etc, eu tô esperando a versão definitiva mesmo rs que creio que esteja perto do zane atualizar.

There is three problem so far

  1. Some mod doesn't work so far, i dont know if its my fault or not but last year it work just fine
  2. Skip intro doesn't work
  3. Can't save at all, thus it make me can't play anything I don't wanna bother you mate, just to inform you some bug that you might do not know 👍

People need to understand this is an alpha build, it's nowhere near final and don't expect mods to just work, give the author more time, calm down.

But from what i've been testing, recolor mods , minor sprite replacment mods and farm map replacement, some STF mods like shop overhaul, visual mods like dynamic reflections, visible fish works, other than that just don't bother trying, just wait

I found a bug. The game frozen when you try build a building from robin and when you try giving artifact to gunther. But thanks for updating the smapi. Except that problem the game working well

Ok thanks. I was about to say the virtual keyboard wond appear allowing me to use mods and the console is just red text saying they aren't working, but you answering question here. Thanks loads

Same. It's nice to see that smapi is at least running now, but it just can't do what I want it to yet. Keep us posted @ZaneYork and if we can have a pinned comment in this thread for your progress, stages of alpha and beta, and final release link that would be awesome. I'm having a bit of trouble as I have to scroll back through alot now to see the message showing your progress checklist.

Edit: also rise above the ungrateful people. If they want something like smapi maybe they should make it themselves. Because you are doing amazing work and all they can do is complain about it not being ready or working 100%

Edit 2: clarification on it currently not being able to do what I would like it to do: custom animations and scripted events, mod manager in game won't let me use the scrollbars when I bring it up and the virtual keyboard not showing up at all. To clarify, this isn't me moaning, I know it will work eventually. It's juste listing what it isn't doing right now.

Phone: make and model of your device. Compatible: all mods that show compatibility with your device. Incompatible: all mods that had an error and instability with your device. Note: a possible reason for the error

How is this off topic? It's just saying an error the alpha has preventing installation. If it isn't addressed, the finished program won't work.

Because Zane clearly just state above that the modded game is not available at the moment, it's an alpha build for god sake, and you clearly did something wrong in the installation process bcs i havent encountered that problem at all while using the alpha build

first delete the apk installer and smapi sdv, don't forget to move the save

Also remove smapi installation and smapi installer on sdv, not on Android/Data

If everything has been deleted, try installing the smapi installer

Mine works that way, but don't know about the others

I tried that. It didn't work. I just get the same issue over and over.

It's fine. It is apha after all. This is what it's about. Fixing bugs so the full build is stable.

Maybe you need another file explorer, one that does allow you to access the data on your phone, cause smapi in all versions need to access the data.

How you installed before? Maybe you have to repeat that.

To anyone on Android 13 this might not work since you can't access files because Google is stupid

So it worked the first time but no kids worked. Then booting it up every time after comes up with a large error message and closes itself

Entonces cuentan con la primera vez, pero ningun niño cuentan. Luego, al iniciarlo cada vez que aparece, aparece un gran mensaje de error y se cierra solo.

Yo lo solucione haciendo lo anterior solo que con una app diferente a la que te da el instalador de smapi

Hacer todos los paso de instalación de smapi instalar la apk modificada si sale error copiar los archivos que salen en la carpeta del video a Android/data/com.zane.stardewvalley/files

What modified APK? The alpha smapi? I'm confused. I think I remember that I did it on the first alpha version but can no longer find the posts linking to the extra steps and the altered APK.... Can you link me the post? Thanks
