Hello everyone, I wanted to know what happened with the development of the alpha on smapi, I want to know if @ZaneYork He is fine and developing the version of smapi for mobiles, I know he is a human being like all of us but I am worried that something bad has happened to him, I don't speak English but I want to send all my support so that he can move on with his life and have the strength to continue with the smapi mobile project , Thanks for everything @ZaneYork ❤️.

Well, I'm gonna state the obvious: ZaneYork has not yet actively participated here since the April 11, both in terms of updates or comments. I've tried to look into what amount of work needs to be done in order to finish the development of SMAPI so it could load most mods and the answer is unfortunate: it would need hours and hours of framework porting; which could not be easily fixed even by a skilled programmer over a short amount of time.

However, the new version of SDV, which is in development right now, is likely to ease this process by natively including the .NET instead of Xamarin. Please bear in mind that while this is a likely possibility, the new version is still in the development and the team has not yet started working on Android version, so nothing is confirmed. If proven true, however, this would ease the process of bringing mods to Android by a vast margin.

I'm sure ZaneYork is well informed in this matter and given his tight time-schedule it is possible that he does not want to waste his effort and time in case the next SMAPI version could be ported much much faster with significantly less work.

I understand, thanks for the explanation... 🥺
