Does anyone know how to fix it? With the alpha version I don't get this error, it's only when I try to install the new version

Delete the old stardewvalley folder before installing the newest version

MangoMangg commented 1 year ago

do you mean the folder in the root of the SD or the one in the "data" folder called stardewvalley

Try going into the 2rd tab at the top and Disabling the virtual keyboard mod

Try going into the 3rd tab at the top and Disabling the virtual keyboard mod

Where? Please explain fully, I've checked the downloads tab on SMAPI Installer if that was what you were talking about but there is nothing but the compat packages and the chinese simplified locale pack.

Click on "Config" Or "Configuracion" (the 2nd tab) And click the 🚫 sign next to VirtualKeyboard

Hey, I got the same error and fixed it by going into the "SMAPI installer > three dots > Set Mod Path" and set the input field to "StardewValley/Mods". Usually, you supposed to put "Android/data/com.zane.stardewvalley/files/Mods" but it causes the VituralKeyboard error. I'm assuming it's because the SMAPI Installer does not have write permission inside the "Andriod/data/...".

Start installing the SMAPI Stardew Valley app and make sure to not interrupt the file migration process when prompt inside the installed SMAPI Stardew Valley app. Then, restart and play.

If you do interrupt the process, you may see a error description similar to #458, which can be easily fix from this video

Now, just make sure when adding new (or remove) Mods to the "Android/data/com.zane.stardewvalley/files/Mods" and not the "StardewValley/Mods".
