Cannot load mods - parsing manifest.json failed? #611

Hi,

I have been trying to add some mods to my game, but keep running into issues. The two pre-loaded mods (Console Commands and VirtualKeyboard) work just fine, but I get an error for any others.

I've tried re-installing SMAPI several times, but it does not seem to help.

your log states that the mod fishing mini game has a wrong manifest.json file format, have you tried re-downloading the mod itself? if it still wouldn't work you could use cjb cheats theres also an option to skip the fishing mini game on that mod.

Hi!

Yes, I have tried redownloading the mod. I get the same error with other mods as well. Here is a log when I tried to load CJB Cheats: https://www.mediafire.com/file/3a55mqu8r4gw4d7/SMAPI-latest_%25281%2529.txt/file

have you tried deleting your "StardewValley" folder on your root storage then deleting your smapi stardew valley app, afterwards reinstall it again? Cause I think the problem is inside one of your smapi-internal files
