Is it just me or whenever I download a mod, like for example-alternative textures, ridgeside village. I always get the red error everytime, am I just too dumb to understand..

you'll have to download the correct version for those mods that works on version 1.5.6 android since most of the mods were already updated for the new version 1.6 on PC, for example in alternative texture you gotta scroll down to the old files and download the one which says supports version 1.5.6 or supports android
