In my opinion... repos with images tend to get more visitors that stick around or explore. You have something most Python projects don't, a GUI. Seems worth showing off to visitors.
I saw a screenshot posted elsewhere that looks like this:
Can you add one easily using GitHub issues. The image above can be added to a readme.md file by copying the code the GitHub created when I pasted the image:
