Thanks for making this mod!

Problem

Requiring a shulker box for the backpack is too harsh, you can only have a backpack after going to the end, if you have end remastered installed, it can easily take multiples days to get to that point.

Expected

Change the recipe, at least provide an alternate recipe which can be acquired much earlier, Beans Backpack only requires leather and strings, Traveler's Backpack requires wool, leather and glass

Hey! I came here and made an account just to leave the same exact kind of criticism, The recipe needing a shulker shell ruins any chance UMU Backpack has at being an addon to your inventory space for the early to mid game by locking it behind the End with other late game content like the Elytra or shulker boxes; Which make the backpack pointless to craft at that point since shulker boxes can carry so much more.

The solution I think could be done is replacing the shulker shell with a chest so that a backpack can actually be crafted much earlier through the progression of the game, Instead of so late that it's already obsolete.

But if just a regular chest seems too cheap then maybe a trapped chest just because.
