The user guide is meant for users with little to no technical knowledge like Wedding Planners. Giving such complicated warnings would only serve to hinder the user in understanding the Quick Start guide.

Reason for disagreement: >The user guide is meant for users with little to no technical knowledge like Wedding Planners. Giving such complicated warnings would only serve to hinder the user in understanding the Quick Start guide.
I felt like the dev team completely ignored the issue, and directed their response at a screenshot that I pasted from the course website (which I did not say to put in their UG in any way, I just said "as I need the specific Java 17 JDK+FX Azul distribution, as clarified below on the course page")
The issue can be easily resolved (without much additional effort) by linking the user to the correct download page of the "Java 17 JDK+FX Azul distribution", and asking the user to click on that instead, if they were a Mac User. (There was no need to put a warning message inside, like what the course page did). This does not hinder the user in understanding the Quick Start guide in any way like what the dev team claimed.
As a Mac user, I would run into an error when trying to start the application, as I need the specific Java 17 JDK+FX Azul distribution, as clarified below on the course page.
This would be relatively severe, as a substantial amount of people use a Mac. In addition, I would not even be able to start the application following your Quick Start guide.
