When going to "Sit on the couch" and activating it rather then a movie play, the game just blackscreens/ freezes

whenever I downgrade to the v0.4 it just crashes, I'll click resume game and then it does the spinning newspaper and just stops halfway through and crashes.

Maybe backup your data and try to make brand new build (fresh PC game folder & v0.4 build files) Also, not sure if this info will be relevant - I used PAL versions of v.0.4 and v.0.5 release, on gen1 soft-modded switch

I am not an expert, but my guess that bug may be related to version and origin of PC assets

If you have an email or something, I may dm you info about how I did it

hi, release 0.4 don't have problem to start the mission 5, it's only with the last release 0.5, what release of the game you use if you don't have any problem with 0.5 ?

Maybe I articulated my words wrong.

I meant that I had same issue as OP, with 0.5. My solution was downgrade to 0.4, passing the mission and then upgrade back to 0.5.

OP said that, in his case, downgrade to 0.4 causes crash. Thus I said that it may be related to his PC game files, since my version of game doesn't crash on 0.4

oh ok,:) This is generally what we do when a buggy version, we try to restart with an older one, but yes this solution helps.

Are you using the NTSC or PAL version of the game disc as your source install?

Are you using the NTSC or PAL version of the game disc as your source install?

I don't have the physical disc to check for sure, but here is what is written in README

Version 1.0
October 15, 2003

Also, support mail address in California, so I may conclude that it is NTSC
