Cinematic Camera FOV is too low #54

Tested on 0.6 PS Vita.

The cinematic/mission cutscene camera FOV appears lower than retail builds. This results in character close-ups often appearing awkwardly cut off in frame.

To reproduce:

  1. Start any mission
  2. Compare cutscene camera FOV to retail builds
  3. Observe discrepancy

Same scene in a video longplay on GCN (occurs at 50:00).

Upon closer inspection, this seems to apply for all fixed-camera occurrences (such as the level 2 catapult). Perhaps this is actually on a global scope?

This is caused by the game not being designed for widescreen. The port is currently using the built-in widescreen support that was used in the Xbox release, so this is probably also an issue in the retail release.

I read you. Do you consider this out of scope then, or are you open to fixing some of these retail present issues?
