[TEST-REQUEST] - Check if Demonic Resilience Reduces Soul Link Damage #31

1. Describe the mechanic

Soul Link transfers 20% damage taken by the warlock to their pet. Demonic Resilience states it reduces ALL damage done to summoned demon by 15%. Soul Link states that the damage is unavoidable. Want to see if that unavoidable applies to Demonic Resilience.

1.1 To Test

Steps to test the behavior:

  1. Get Soul Link
  2. Summon Void Walker
  3. Find source of consistent damage (immolation, for example), not a range
  4. See damage transferred to demon with soul link
  5. Talent Demonic Resilience and see damage transferred to demon from same attack.

Demonic Resilience does not reduce the damage that your pet receives through soullink.

Did the test on a Wrathwalker that summons Flame Wave's on the ground (every tick does the same damage). My pet was receiving 63 damage with only Soullink up and later with Soullink and 3 points of Demonic Resilience as well.
