UG: PayNow meaning is not clarified #22

In the UG, there are multiple mentions of PayNow. However there is no glossary to explain what PayNow is supposed to be. This is problematic as:

  1. The target audience is not specified in the UG. Hence,
  2. A student who does not reside in Singapore will not know the meaning of PayNow.

Team's Response

In our developer guide, we did mention our target user as NUS students image.png

We acknowledge that indeed it should've been explained in our User Guide. However, if we push our application to our intended target users, most of them should know what PayNow is. Hence, we are arguing for Very Low severity.

As you have clarified that "most" of them should know what PayNow is, you are agreeing to the fact that there exists a proportion of users who will experience inconvenience from your team not clarifying its meaning. Hence your team's response has acknowledged that this is not purely a cosmetic issue.

In line with the guidelines of the textbook where severity.VeryLow is only used for cosmetic issues, I disagree with your team's proposed severity downgrade.
