Survival games generally fall flat after the "survival" part is conquered. Either this means that the "survival" part needs to be impossible, or the game needs to shift focus after the survival part is completed.

I like the idea of shifting focus to some kind of narrative. Much like The Long Dark's story mode, or Raft's chapters.
