rANDY Matchmaker will propose more battles than can happen #2864

Player A and C are both in queue and cannot match against each other in queue. Player B, who can match against Player A or Player C, joins queue. Matchmaker gives "match available" to both A and C, and it is up to jeopardy buzzer skill who gets the match. I think.

rANDY doesn't want his matches based on his skill of clicking 'accept match' fast enough it seems.

Goes beyond just being a race to click.

As I am sometimes in the queue for 1 hour+, I'm often doing other things whilst waiting, including being semi-AFK, listening for the sound of match found. When it does "pop" I assume I have a game, close out other programs or put down what I'm doing and come back to the PC. It can be frustrating to come back and just be placed back into the queue. Seems punishing for long queues that I'm not there ready to click within seconds of "match found".

From previous conversations I believe this is unintentional behavior as when I raised this issue previously without video proof I was told: DeinFreund — 09/06/2021 There can't be a three way pop up but there can be a four way pop up

Therefore I assume something is going wrong somewhere, maybe I experience this more than most being at one extreme of the matchmaking algorithm, but it happens frequent enough to be annoying (it happened twice on the day I recorded the video).

4-way popup sounds sensible and strictly superior to 2-way. The options are:

Compare to 3-way, which has bad options:
