Fix hang when no protocols load successfully #17

I thought I had accounted for this already, but it still seems that the event loop (at what point, I don't know) seems to hang when no protocols load successfully, requiring a SIGINT to stop.

I did, in #6; I just decided to ignore it for now. 😅
