ASS was made so you can just label appropriately the series folder and the folder content should be accepted as-is
Just found another release that has the same problem:
Watamote.S01.1080p.BluRay.10-Bit.Dual-Audio.FLAC2.0.x265-YURASUKA [anidb4-9582]
Do you want me to take a crack at fixing it or do you want to try and fix it yourself? I don't normally code in python though.
Why forcing S1 season when it is already season1?
A habit I do so if the Plex DB gets corrupted and I need to re-add the library, I wouldn't need to rematch every single series as forcing reliably auto matches.
Seem like the s01 in series title cause the issue ...
Interestingly, this release does not exhibit the problem:
My.Hero.Academia.S02.1080p-Hi10p.BluRay.FLAC5.1.x264-ITH [anidb4-12233]
Was talking AB ut the -s1 more than the forced I
The title after processing indicate the scrub was not identical to the other filenames although the filenames were following the same naming convention... I can't see how the title ended like E with spaces and dots and the EP number... The folder name sould be substracted front the filename and the different spacing could prevent this part from working adequately If adding the right exclusions to pre wack for the tags may take care of that.
Series title really atrocious as it uses dots and tags not in square brackets and FLAC5.1 needs to be removed definitely by scrubbing Watamote.S01.1080p.BluRay.10-Bit.Dual-Audio.FLAC2.0.x265-YURASUKA [anidb4-9582] after scrubbing should be 'Watanote S01'
Don't have time currently for long fix although can see code on phone to see if I see a quick one. It's been years I don't use Plex anymore to view stuff and Nas has been shutdown since summer...
Not sure if this helps, but I've been having the same problem, but if I rename the "10-bit" part to "10bit" for example, then it scans it correctly.
"Spice.and.Wolf.S01E10.1080p.BluRay.10-Bit.Dual-Audio.FLAC5.1.x265-YURASUKA.mkv"
It is because there's too many 10s in the string, it hit a failsafe. Pre-wack need to remove "10-bit" and "1080p"
Try line 108 to add , "10-bit"
towards the end since other string includes 10-bit part and should be removed whole, and report

did it work ? (please note you need to change folder content to rescan without using the cached result, or do the plex dance)
Just wanted to chime in that this fixed an issue I was having with another batch of YURASUKA subs after upgrading the scanner and jiggling the folder name to trigger a re-scan.
Cheers!
The Spice and Wolf release by YURASUKA has file names that makes ASS interpret S01E10 as s00e001.
Platform
