How to use tvdb4 & tvdb5 #399

Im trying to put Dragon Ball Kai (tvdb-33081) in plex. And im running the ASS scanner and Hama agent. Following are my file & folder naming

and this is how plex is showing when i have the above fulfilled image

What am i doing wrong here. I eve n tried the "tvdb4.mapping" (is it necessary to give xml as ext or mapping as ext for this file) placed inside the series folder, this is how i have formatted the mapping file.

Wrong method, Plex forum was more adequate Wrong project, season number wrong therefore it is a scanner issue as per the second line in the readme: If a file is not showing in plex or showing at the wrong season and/or episode number, or is not passing through the forced id, then it is a scanner issue. Anything else is metadata related and agent specific.

Tvdb4.mapping is NOT an XML file otherwise I would have added the xml extension... It should contain: 01|001|003|Raditz Saga 02|004|016|Vegeta Saga 03|017|031|Namek Saga 04|032|035|Captain Ginyu Saga 05|036|054|Frieza Saga 06|055|058|Trunks Saga 07|059|067|Android Saga 08|068|075|Imperfect Cell Saga 09|076|082|Perfect Cell Saga 10|083|098|Cell Games Saga 11|099|105|Great Saiyaman Saga 12|106|114|World Tournament Saga 13|115|122|Babidi Saga 14|123|140|Majin Buu Saga 15|141|155|Fusion Saga 16|156|165|Kid Buu Saga 17|166|167|Peaceful World Saga

Hey i have removed the seasons folder and placed the videos after the series folder and it worked, after changing the above mapping condition that you have specified above. But is it not possible to put these files in their seasons folder and then tell tvdb4.mapping to segregate them? This will be much cleaner in file mgmt.

Is it not possible for hama or ASS to rename the seasons as above in mapping file image

Either tvdb4 choose the season for you or you specify it You can use 'transparent'/arc folders (last entry in SEASON_RX) and it should support Saga but it wasn't recognized by the regex in your case as it needs to start with Saga as otherwise any season or series folder with Arc, Ark or saga will be mistaken...

There is a table explaining that in the readme, force ID section. This is a query for the forum. Furthered didn't code anidb3/4 but that's the only thing to use prequel/sequel but seasons will be weird then...

Hey just curious, do you put your movies and series in a single master anime folder or create movie's separately and use movies hama for that and likewise for series.

Oh and btw it worked thanks for the inputs, here's how I'm using the naming convention of ASS image And this is how plex has outputted in TV section of hama not using the movies tab for this. image image image

I would have used AniDB numbering and stuff all sagas into collections... I did allow movies in series library but the naming convention need to be followed.

Haven't been using Plex in years so I recommend Plex forum for usage questions. Barely fixing bugs atm
